  • Day 1, Saturday, Split arrival

    You will be transferred from Split airport or your Split hotel to harbour, where embarkation begins at 1PM. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (WR, D)

    Day 2, Sunday, Split – NP Krka – Šibenik

    Depart from Split early in the morning towards Šibenik. After lunch disembark in Šibenik and take the bus to visit Krka National Park. It’s magnificent waterfalls, including the famous waterfall Skradinski Buk, are one of Croatia’s most famous sights. After the sightseeing tour, we will return to Šibenik, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage. Set out on a walking tour of Šibenik historical center and visit one of the most beautiful Renaissance Cathedrals of the Adriatic. Your night is at leisure in town. (B, L)

    Day 3, Monday, Šibenik – Galešnjak – Zadar

    Leaving Šibenik early in the morning we set sail for Galešnjak, a typical small Dalmatian Island, where you can enjoy a swim stop in one of secluded bays. Enjoy lunch while we cruise into Zadar harbour in the afternoon. Set out on a walking tour of Zadar historical center and admire the old walls and Port Gate built in 16th century. Visit the Square of the Five Wells, the Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum and the largest Cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia. If there is a breeze, enjoy at the sea organ, an amazing art installation. Overnight in Zadar. (B, L)

    Day 4, Tuesday, Zadar – Primošten

    Morning departure for Primošten, sailing through the Kornati National Park, which consists of 89 unforgettable islands, islets, and rocks. Kornati National Park is often called a “nautical paradise” and is a rich marine ecosystem. Enjoy swimming in one of the hidden coves. Afterwards we continue to Primošten built on a hill and dominated by the parish Church of St. George which was built in 1485. Your evening is at leisure in town. (B, L)

    Day 5, Wednesday, Primošten – Stari Grad

    In the morning we will continue towards the town of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar we will sail pass by the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Golden Horn (“Zlatni rat”) near Bol – whose pebbles shifts from side to side as the wind and waves constantly change in shape. Swim stop near Golden Horn (“Zlatni rat”) is weather permitted. We head off to Hvar Island where we’ll visit Stari Grad. Stari Grad is one of the oldest towns in Europe with many konobas and restaurants in the backstreets of the old town. The Stari Grad Plain and the old town centre of Stari Grad have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2008. Your evening is free to explore Stari Grad on your own. (B, L)

    Day 6, Thursday, Stari Grad – Hvar – Vis

    Our morning cruise starts with Hvar Town. Hvar is a favorite holiday destination for international celebrities, but it’s also a charming seaside town with 8 centuries of architecture. During a walking tour visit the old town with the picturesque little streets and the first public theatre in Europe. We will continue towards the island of Vis once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it interesting to visit. Upon arrival in town of Vis join the walking tour to visit the remains of the Roman thermal place and views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront and enjoy wine tasting in one of the local wine bars. Tonight, enjoy Captain’s dinner on board. (B, L, T, CD)

    Day 7, Friday, Vis – Biševo – Split

    We have an early morning cruise towards small island of Biševo to visit the Blue cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon, if weather permitted.  We arrive in Split in the afternoon. This UNESCO World Heritage city bases the city center around the stunning Diocletian’s Palace, the Roman emperor Diocletian’s retirement palace from 295–305 AD. Stroll through the palace basement filled with market stalls and experience the historical architecture of this beautiful palace. See the remnants of Split`s Roman heritage, as well as its. Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter`s temple, the Peristyle, and many other unique sites. Overnight in Split. (B, L)

    Day 8, Saturday, Split -Opatija

    After breakfast it’s time to disembark and say goodbye to the crew. We journey north by motorcoach for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In Plitvice, we walk around several of the lower lakes. The Park is a natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After our visit, you will be transfered to Opatija where dinner is served at hotel. (B, D)

    Day 9, Sunday, Opatija- Postojna – Poreč

    After breakfast, we travel to Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe. We will explore this wondrous subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, we drive to Poreč.  Visit of the old town of Poreč, whose traces of the past are preserved in the old core of the town. Stone streets, ruins of ancient temples, forums and other beautiful buildings preserved from ancient times testify to the number of conquerors. The Euphrasian Basilica from the 6th century is the most valuable historical and cultural monument in Istria, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Entrance to the Euphrasian Basilica. Check in at the hotel. Overnight in Poreč. (B)

    Day 10, Monday, Poreč – Pula – Rovinj – Poreč

    After breakfast, we drive to Pula for an orientation tour of this strategic port city. We also visit the preserved Amphitheater, the sixth largest in the world. Then we continue to Rovinj, the most romantic town in Croatia, a charmingly picturesque old town. One of the most famous attractions is the St. Euphemia Cathedral, the largest baroque building in Istria. Built according to plans by venetian architect Giovanni Dizzi, the bell tower on the church is a copy of the one at St Mark’s Basilica in Venice. Free time in Rovinj. Afterward, we return to Poreč. Your free evening. (B) 

    Day 11, Tuesday, Venice

    We embark the catamaran early in the morning and sail directly to Italy where Venice beckons on idyllic setting on 119 islands. After checking at the hotel, in the afternoon we start exploring Venice with a boat ride to Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. In a working glass factory, we observe master craftsmen demonstrate the art of traditional Venetian glassblowing. Enjoy the rest of your day on your own. (B)

    Day 12, Wednesday, Venice

    After breakfast, we depart for St. Mark’s Square, for a walking tour with visits of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. En route, we take in views of the Bell Tower and the Bridge of Sighs. The balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy even more of Venice. Later, we gather for a farewell dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Venice. (B, D)

    Day 13, Thursday, Depart Venice

    You will be transferred to Venice’s airport for your flight home. (B)
